- From the Oswestry bye-pass at the Mile End Roundabout (A5 - Shrewsbury and Chester roads meet here) - Take the A483 signed for Welshpool.

- At Llynclys turn right (by White Lion pub.) onto the A495 signed for Bala.

- Look for Nantmawr Quarry brown tourism signs - Turn right opposite Hanson Quarry entrance and before small bridge under road.

- At next T-junction turn left.

- Look for Nantmawr Quarry main entrance on right (three boulders on drive entrance).

- Follow drive up hill, through the car park, past the barn and through gates opposite the quarry entrance onto a lane. Turn right along lane to Engine House immediately on the left.
